I think I might have endometriosis, but I’m scared the doctor will want to give me birth control before doing other tests. Can I decline birth control for other tests? I’ve had symptoms for years but no diagnosis. I’m currently using condoms as contraception and only take over-the-counter pain medication when needed. I’m 22 years old and don’t have a family doctor due to a shortage in my area, so I go to walk-in clinics for any issues. Will this affect any potential diagnosis?

I'm currently on birth control but experiencing pregnancy symptoms. I took a negative pregnancy test this morning, but my symptoms make me feel like it was a false negative. I've been on this birth control for about six to eight months and haven't gotten my period in a while because I don't take the sugar pills. I'm 21 years old and not using any daily medications, except for Tylenol this morning for a headache. A couple of weeks ago, I missed my pill a few times, but not consecutively. My current symptoms include a headache on the left side of my head, sensitive nipples, bloated/pressure feeling below my belly button, nausea, and frequent gagging. What could be causing these symptoms if I'm not pregnant?

I started birth control in October with no issues, but this month, I finished my period a couple of weeks ago and have been having a very light period for the past 4-5 days while still on the hormonal pills. I took Plan B on January 3rd and this problem started on January 24th or 25th. I'm supposed to start the sugar pills next Tuesday and shouldn't be having a period now. What could this be and how long could it last?

On 04/24/20, I took a positive pregnancy test. The first day of my last period was 03/20/20, which should put me around 5 weeks 6 days. I had a quantitative hCG blood test performed, and the result was 900, which seems low for my gestational age. Is this normal, and should I be concerned? Should I retest in a day or two to see if the value has doubled?
