I am 32 years old and had abnormal pap results indicating atypical squamous cells, which were precancerous. After having them removed, I noticed a pain on my left side and was diagnosed with endometrial lining thickening, a polyp, and a fibroid. My doctor suggested a D&C and hysteroscopy, but I am hesitant due to my sensitivity to anesthesia and the effectiveness of herbal treatments I've tried. My periods have returned to normal, and my last pap was perfect. Are the procedures necessary, and what are the risks if I do have them?
