I am 38 years old and plan to have another child within the next year. I am healthy and fit, but I am concerned about the possibility of developing blood clots due to my sister's experience of developing a clot during her pregnancy at 37. Could this be hereditary, and should I be on blood thinners if I become pregnant since I am older and have a family history?

I gave birth on February 5th and am breastfeeding full time, with frequent milk expression. I had my period 6 weeks after birth and now have light brown discharge. I also have a headache, light stomach pain, and nausea. I took a pregnancy test, which was negative. I'm concerned if this could be old blood, implantation discharge, or something else. Can anyone help?

My wife had a hysterectomy. She is stating I am the cause of it because I gave her Gardnerella vaginosis and Ureaplasma urealyticum. How do I get tested for these? Could these be a reason for a complete hysterectomy?

My daughter is 36 years old and pregnant with her first baby. She is 20 weeks along and until yesterday all the testing and sonograms, etc. have been fine. She was told today by her doctor that the baby may have fluid around its heart and they are going to send her to a high-risk ob and have more testing done. What does this mean for the baby? Is there treatment for this? She has had some new testing done that checks on chromozone problems and Downs Syndrome and these came back all right. What should we expect?
