I am 45 years old and unexpectedly missed my period in February. We use the pull-out method, and I took a home pregnancy test that showed positive. I am concerned about the risks at my age and want to know if I should take another test or if there are other health factors to consider.

I accidentally took three birth control pills instead of one due to a mix-up with the dates on the packet. What should I do to correct this and ensure it doesn't affect my contraception?

I am experiencing intense cramps and spasms during my periods, which last for 1-2 days. I have tried Naproxen, Ibuprofen, and natural remedies, but nothing seems to help. My periods are very regular, and my last period started on February 13th. I am 29 years old and have no other significant medical history. What can be done to alleviate these severe menstrual cramps?

I had unprotected intercourse and suspect I may be experiencing implantation bleeding. I am 6 months postpartum, have had one irregular period, and have a history of heavy periods and a miscarriage. I am not on any birth control and had unprotected sex 4 days ago. How can I determine if this is implantation bleeding or something else?

I have been experiencing urine symptoms such as frequency, slight bladder and stomach discomfort, back pain, and a burning sensation in my urethra, especially when sitting down, on and off for nearly a year. These symptoms started after attempting to have intercourse for the first time, and have recurred, though less severely, during subsequent attempts. I have had multiple urine tests, STI tests, and a bladder scan, all of which have come back normal. I am concerned about the consistency of these symptoms and would like to know if you have any idea of what may be going on?

I had a positive genital swab result for HSV1 in July 2022, but my blood work for HSV1 has remained negative since then. I have been taking Valacyclovir daily and have not had any genital sores since the swab. Could the negative blood work results mean I don't have HSV1 genitally, and how could the presence of bacterial vaginosis or yeast infection at the time of the swab affect the results?
