I am 7 weeks pregnant and have experienced past miscarriages. I was prescribed progesterone suppositories due to spotting, but after 4 days, I started having pain in the back of my pelvis on the right side. Is this a side effect of the progesterone, and should I continue taking it?

Within the past year, my menstrual cramps and symptoms have gotten worse. I experience such severe cramps that I can't sleep, and the pain radiates to my legs, causing them to go numb. How do I determine if this is primary or secondary dysmenorrhea, and should I be concerned about the recent increase in pain?
