Within the past year, my menstrual cramps and symptoms have gotten worse. I experience such severe cramps that I can't sleep, and the pain radiates to my legs, causing them to go numb. My periods are also irregular, and I have a history of a cyclical ovarian cyst, migraines, and depression before my period. How do I determine if this is primary or secondary dysmenorrhea, and should I be concerned about the recent increase in pain?
