I am a 20-year-old female experiencing yellow runny vaginal discharge that itched a little and had a slight fishy smell before my period started. I also experienced bleeding after sex with my boyfriend. Could this be bacterial vaginosis (BV) or a sexually transmitted infection (STI)? What should I do about the bleeding after sex and could it be related to a cervical polyp?

I am having light spotting instead of a period for the last month now. I am not on birth control, and took a pregnancy test and it was negative. I'm not on any other medication. My periods are always very regular. Nothing else in my lifestyle has changed, and I'm married. I have no pain, tenderness, cramps, and feel normal. What could it be?

I used to have proper blood flow during my periods, but for the past 6-7 months, my blood flow has declined significantly.
