I am a 26-year-old female diagnosed with HSV 2 and experiencing intense pain while urinating for over a week. I was initially diagnosed with a UTI and treated with antibiotics, but the pain persisted. I was later diagnosed with HSV 2 and started taking acyclovir cream and pills. The pain has increased slightly over the last two days, and I am concerned about the possibility of HSV sores in the urethra. Is it possible to have HSV sores in the urethra that cause dysuria, and how long might the pain last?

I have been experiencing a burning sensation in my vagina for a few days. The burning sensation comes and goes, does not occur when urinating, and there are no other symptoms. I was supposed to start my period on Saturday, but on Friday, I started having some brown and red discharge that didn't fully come out. I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. When did the discharge start, and has it been constant or does it come and go? Does the discharge have a noticeable odor, and how would you describe its texture? When did your last period start and end, and does it come regularly? Are you on any birth control or medications? Have you had any changes in stress, illness, lifestyle, or taken any emergency contraception after unprotected intercourse?
