I am experiencing red blood from the vagina only when straining to defecate. This has been happening for about a week. I have constipation, which is a side effect of my medications (levothyroxine, cialis, tracleer, and birth control). I have never had a vaginal delivery or been pregnant. My last PAP smear was in May 2012, and the results were normal. I was recommended for an IUD due to pulmonary hypertension but was unable to get it placed. I am currently on a non-estrogen birth control pill, Nora-Be, and recently switched to Camila. My period is due last week and is very light. What could be causing this bleeding, and should I be concerned about any symptoms?

I am 48 years old and have been experiencing continuous bleeding for three weeks. My menstrual cycles have been irregular for the past six months, and I have had no periods for a couple of months before this. I am stressed, have lost weight, and have increased my activity level. I am a very active female and an equipment operator, driving long distances regularly. I also have an itchy throat and occasional coughing at night. What could be causing this prolonged bleeding, and what should I do?

I have a brown discharge that started about 3 days ago. I am not pregnant, not on my period, and not using any medications. The discharge has no odor and is thicker but not in big clots. My last period was 2 weeks ago and it comes regularly. I took Plan B on October 8th. What could be causing the discharge and what should I do if it doesn't go away?

I'm on Yaz birth control and got my period early. My mom suggested skipping the sugar pills and starting a new pack, but I think I got my period again. Should I go back to the sugar pills and hold off on the new pack? I've been using Yaz for acne control for a couple of years, and I also have Crohn's disease and am on biological injections for it.

I had a D&C on Nov 1 for a twin pregnancy that was at 9.5 weeks. I’ve been experiencing itchiness similar to a yeast infection and I am very prone to them during pregnancy/afterwards. When can I safely use Canestan oral or the vaginal tablet?
