I stopped using birth control (injection) three months ago and switched to condoms for contraception. My last period ended on July 26 and was supposed to start again on August 16, but I had bleeding from August 6 to August 8. I took two pregnancy tests, both negative. I don't have signs of UTI or yeast infection. What could be causing this irregular bleeding?

I missed putting in my contraceptive ring this last Sunday due to my prescription not being available, and it was put in Thursday morning. I had unprotected sex on Wednesday night around 2:30/3, and both my prescription and the 'take action pill' were taken around 8am Thursday. I have been dealing with vaginal itch and thin white discharge with a vinegary smell since May. I've taken Flagyl, penicillin, and multiple rounds of Diflucan, and tried Monistat and boric acid suppositories, but nothing has fully cleared it up. My last period lasted a month and I have a birth control implant causing irregular periods. What could be causing this persistent issue and what else can I do to resolve it?
