I started taking Levlen around a month and a half ago, and I'm experiencing very thick, stringy brown/black discharge along with small amounts of red blood. The discharge started around a week ago and is constant but very light. It has a noticeable bloody/musky odor and a slight fishy odor at times. My last period was around a month and a half ago, and it wasn't regular. I have always had irregular periods and am sexually active with one partner using a condom. Is this normal, and when will it stop?

Should I use emergency contraception if my boyfriend accidentally spilled a drop of sperm on the bedsheets and wiped his hand with a towel, then fingered me with the other hand that did not touch the condom or semen? Should I be concerned about high hCG levels? My levels are at 54,944 and I'm around 6 weeks 4 days. My last menstrual period started on 03/17/23, and I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks that showed a sac and yolk but no heartbeat yet. I'm experiencing mild nausea and tender breasts, and I'm taking prenatal vitamins.
