I'm 66 years old and had a partial hysterectomy when I was 30. I was on hormone therapy seven years ago, but I've gained 30 pounds in the last 1.5 years since moving and seeing a new doctor. My new doctor says my hormones are elevated, specifically estrogen. I'm experiencing weight gain and poor sleep. What could be causing this and what can I do about it?

I started taking Loloestrin at the start of my period and have experienced heavy bleeding and cramping ever since. Now I am feeling symptoms of anemia. I just need my period to stop. Do I stop taking the pills? I have cramps in the front and lower back most days, and my period is usually every 21-35 days and often heavy, lasting 7-10 days. This one is still going since October 20. I'm 46 and take Advil and Aleve for the cramps. I also take meds for my thyroid, but recent blood work shows it's fine. I have endometriosis and have had one surgery to remove adhesions. My uterus was tilted during a recent pelvic ultrasound, and I've had cysts in the past but never fibroids.

Hello, I noticed my breast has been swollen and I am having dizziness, feeling feverish. This started about two weeks ago, and I went to do a scan and blood test, finding out I was not pregnant. After a vacation, the symptoms worsened. I checked with a test strip and found out I am pregnant, although I am yet to confirm with a blood test. The swelling is painful and getting worse, affecting the whole breast. I am 23 years old, not using any medications, and have a history of PID for which I was treated for one week but have not rechecked.

My wife's periods have been going on for almost 11 days now and have been irregular for over a year. She has been taking Tranexamic Acid Tablets for the last 3 days, but they haven't helped this time. She had an ultrasound that revealed fibroids. She is 34 years old and is experiencing lower abdomen cramps for the first time. How can we manage her prolonged periods and what treatment options are available?
