I had a difficult experience with a c-section and wound infection after my first child, which took a long time to heal. My wife had another miscarriage today. She's bleeding heavily, and this is her second in a year. She has three kids from a previous relationship, and we both really wanted a child together. I'm not emotionally connected with her other kids, and I'm afraid this is going to build resentment towards them because my kids live in another household. Should I seek counseling? Also, she was close to 3 months along, and she has an appointment next Friday with her OB. She saw tissue in her blood and is bleeding heavily but is not in pain. The OB is not aware of the miscarriage. What should we do?

I am 53 years old and for 1 year and a half, I had no period. Then in December last year, I bled heavily for 20 days straight. Now I bleed every month for one day and any time I can bleed but won't need a pad. When I do, I have blood clots some really really huge, larger than a quarter. This happens all month. Sometimes the blood just happens and then it's gone as fast as it came. Are you using any contraceptives? When did your last period begin? When was your last pap test, and what were the results? Any swelling, discoloration, or unusual smells? Anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?

I have a growth on my groin area that I don’t recognize and I’m trying to figure out what it is. It has been present for a little less than a month, stays about the same, and itches when I clean myself. I’m 66 years old and have only used Vaseline for the itching and soap and water to cleanse. Can you help identify it and advise on the best course of action?
