I had a regular period lasting five days, followed by spotting five days later that lasted only one day. My periods have always been regular, and the only other time I had spotting was during my first pregnancy. I took an ovulation test that came back positive. Why would I spot five days after my period, and what does a positive ovulation test mean for my chances of pregnancy?

I am a 49-year-old female who had a partial hysterectomy and still has my ovaries. I am experiencing severe hot flashes, especially after eating, and other symptoms of perimenopause. My blood work showed good results, but I am concerned about my hormone levels and need to know if there is anything I can do to alleviate these symptoms. I have tried Black Cohosh, which caused severe headaches, and have started vitamin E supplements, juicing, collagen, CBD oil, and daily gym visits. How can I find out if I'm missing progesterone or need estrogen? Can HGH be used to help, and can it be prescribed?

I just received my pap results from an exam I had one year ago, which indicated 'atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance (ASC-H), cannot exclude high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions.' I had another pap test with the same results and am now scheduled for a colposcopy. I am worried and confused about whether this means I have cancer, especially since the results were the same a year apart. What does this mean, and what should I expect from the colposcopy?

I am a 62-year-old female. My daily medications include a low-dose thyroid tablet, a low-dose blood pressure tablet, and a tablet for reflux. I am a little overweight but not obese and reasonably active, including a 4km brisk bike ride 6 mornings a week. I had a partial hysterectomy when I was 50 and am not on any HRT. I live in QLD. My concern is that I struggle with the heat in recent years and seem to perspire a lot, which I never used to do. It’s not all the time, usually when I exert myself, but I do feel the heat more than I used to. Is this hormonal or perhaps because I am overweight, and if so, is there anything I can take to assist with this?

My friend has bumps or blistery-like bumps around the vagina area that cause burning when she wipes or urinates. She used a body spray or perfume in that area. Could it be caused by that, and if so, what could she use to ease the pain? She has already tried a diaper rash ointment.
