I just received my pap results from an exam I had one year ago, which indicated 'atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance (ASC-H), cannot exclude high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions.' I had another pap test with the same results and am now scheduled for a colposcopy. I am worried and confused about whether this means I have cancer, especially since the results were the same a year apart. What does this mean, and what should I expect from the colposcopy?
