I had Mirena inserted since May 1st. I've had two spotty periods and missed my expected period yesterday, though a home pregnancy test was negative. I checked the strings and they seem shorter. I went to the doctor for an ultrasound and the IUD is still in perfect position. I also noticed increased vaginal discharge, sometimes yellowish and sticky, and sometimes white and creamy. Is it normal for these changes to occur, and should I be concerned about the IUD's position or my missed period?

It is normal for the Mirena IUD to prevent periods in about 80% of women, so missing a period is not...

I am not sure if I am having implantation bleeding or my period. My last period was November 1, and I noticed this bleeding today. I am experiencing light cramping. I had sex on November 6th and 9th, and when I wiped, it was like a light pink red. What could this be?

I've been having brown discharge for a few months now, with a bleach/clorox smell to it. What could be the cause and what should I do?

I am experiencing brown stains when I wipe after urinating, between my periods. This has been happening more frequently, especially when I am more active, and it started about a year to a year and a half ago. It is not my period, and there is no bad odor or itching. What could this be?

How can I get Metrogel without a prescription, and are there alternative treatments for bacterial vaginosis or yeast infections?

I have a sharp pain in my lower stomach, a fishy smell, a strong chemical smell like a musky or urine smell, and a thin white-gray discharge. The inside of my vagina also feels swollen but there's not much pain. I'm 18 years old with no medical problems, and this has been going on for 3-4 months. My urination is pretty normal, but sometimes I feel uncomfortable after peeing. There's no pain when urinating, and I have no risk for STDs. What could be causing this?
