I had my last period on July 15th, 2022, and almost 2 weeks later, I started experiencing what I assume to be ovulation bleeding. This bleeding has lasted longer than the typical 1-2 days and is more than just a drop or two of blood. I also noticed abdominal cramps on the first day and unusual, hard, gummy-like chunks in the blood, which are brown in color. I took an ovulation test, but the results were unclear. I've never had this type of spotting between periods before, and I'm not pregnant. What could this be?

I have a hormonal imbalance and am gaining a lot of weight because of it. I am 23 years old and this has been a concern since April 2020. I had an abortion in March 2020 and started gaining weight after getting an IUD, which I had removed last year. I have irregular periods, acne on my face and vagina, and sometimes lower stomach pain. I am not using any medications and have no known allergies. What can I do to control this hormonal imbalance and weight gain?
