My daughter has been using the Nuva Ring for about 8 months. She put one in on June 2 and was scheduled to remove it on June 23, but she started bleeding on June 14 and took it out. Everything has been normal until now. Is there a problem? Should she put one back in?

My wife, 29 years old and 16 months postpartum, had a blood and urine test. The results show trace occult blood, no RBC, 0-5 WBC, cloudy appearance, ALP 116 (normal range 33-115), HDL 33 (normal >46), total cholesterol 166 (normal <200), calcium 9.7 (normal range 8.8-10.2), and TSH 7.2 (normal range xx-4.5).
