Is it normal to have periods twice a month? My last period began on September 1 and ended on September 6, and then started again on September 27 and ended on September 30. I am 32 years old, not taking any medicines or contraception, and my previous periods were regular. Could it be that I am pregnant?

I had my period on July 8, and no bleeding on July 12. I've been testing for ovulation every day with two different kits (Premom and Easy at Home), which show conflicting results. I need a birth control refill, but the pills I take (Bellaface) are not available in the US. I am 37 years old, no children, and had surgery to remove an endometrioma, a large ovarian cyst, and 9 large fibroids last summer. I started experiencing pain during ovulation in January and was prescribed Bellaface by my doctor in Ecuador. I am attending graduate school in the US and will run out of birth control by the end of May. My main concerns are preventing the cyst from growing, finding the best option with the least side effects, and avoiding water retention, which affects my vocal cords as an opera singer. I have also experienced continuous headaches and vaginal dryness with the current pill. What birth control options are available in the US that could address these concerns?
