I have been experiencing severe period pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, visual disturbances, muscle pains, hip pain, and ringing in my ears. I am on antibiotics for a respiratory infection, have subclinical hyperthyroidism with an enlarged thyroid and cysts, and my period has an unusual smell. What could be causing these symptoms and what tests or treatments should I consider?

I am on my period and have heavy blood flow with blood clots for the past 2 days. I am not using any contraceptives or medications, I am 32 years old, and I have a history of PCOS. My periods were regular before this, and I have not had this heavy flow before. I have been experiencing back and leg pain but not much lower stomach pain. I have not gained weight recently, my diet and exercise routine have not changed, and I have been slightly stressed. I had sexual intercourse recently and have not had recent Pap smear, STD testing, or pelvic ultrasound. I am not allergic to any medication. I got my period on November 8 and it stopped on the 13th. Today, I noticed pink/brown/red discharge, which started thick and now is very light pink/brown. I have a slight headache and felt slight cramping before the discharge began. Is this normal, just spotting, or old blood coming out?
