What could be happening when my period is getting shorter and I have regular on/off abdominal cramps? My period is usually heavy for the first 3 days and lasts 5 to 6 days, but this time it was heavy for 2 days and then became lighter on the 3rd day. I am 21 years old and taking Naprogestic for period pain. I haven't had a pap smear before and I'm not on any birth control. Is pregnancy possible in this case, as I have had unprotected intercourse with my partner?

I have been given IV fluids and medications at the hospital, but the symptoms have returned. My back is tender, and I am currently taking Ondansetron, Famotidine, Lansoprazole, and Tylenol. I am 33 years old and do not drink alcohol. My stomach looks swollen, and my bowel movements appear black. What could be causing these symptoms, and what should I do?
