I have been experiencing pelvis pain below the belly button, more pronounced on the right side, for about 30 days. The pain is tender to touch and slightly worse when taking steps or when there is pressure on the bladder. My last period was from January 17-21, and my appetite and bowel movements are normal. I went to the OBGYN today where he said I had a massive vaginal infection and a herpetic lesion, but I have no history of herpes and my partner recently tested negative for herpes. The doctor said it doesn't look like herpes, but I'm concerned. Is it possible to have a vaginal lesion that is not herpes or another STD?
