I was advised to have a withdrawal bleed for 7 days to stop bleeding and then resume pills as normal, but weeks later I'm bleeding again. What can I do to control the bleeding and what tests should I consider?

I'm scared I'm pregnant. I'm using the barrier method, specifically condoms, and I'm 8 days late on my period. I've been experiencing cramps and sore breasts for the last few days. My clitoris is swollen and painful like a bruise, but no bruising or injury. The pain started 2 days ago and is consistent, dull, and feels like a bruise. I am 37 years old, have no medical conditions, and am not taking any medications. There are no obvious reasons for the swelling or tenderness, and I have not noticed any burns, pain during urination, abdominal pain, increased frequency of urination, changes in urine color or smell, or blood in urine.
