I had a tampon stuck in my vagina that I did not know about. It came out 4 days after my last day. Since then, I have had lower back pain and cramps. Is this related? I am 29 years old, have no vaginal discharge, no fever, and have never experienced this incident before. I haven't had a pap test or pelvic exam in almost 2 years, and I don't have insurance. My tubes and ovaries are good, and there is no blockage. I had sex while the tampon was in but didn't know it was there. Could I get pregnant in this situation?

I have been experiencing symptoms such as discharge, itching, burning in the pelvis area, pressure, cramp-like feelings, and swelling in the vulva area. I took boric acid, which seemed to worsen the symptoms, and I have also taken fluconazole without full relief. I have had elevated leukocytes in my urine but no nitrates, and I am concerned about the possibility of bacterial vaginosis or a vaginal yeast infection.
