I have had my menstrual period for 2 weeks. I am 40 years old and experiencing light to heavy bleeding. I am not using any medications and have no significant medical history. My periods usually last 3 days, but my last regular cycle was from June 8 to 12, followed by another cycle from June 30 to July 15, and then another cycle from July 31 until now. I change my pad every 4 hours, and there are no clots with the bleeding. I do not have any pain or cramps in the lower abdomen. What could be causing this prolonged bleeding, and what should I do?

I've been on Concerta or Adderall for the last 5-6 years due to ADHD. I'm currently 31 and pregnant with my fifth baby, due in February. I've been trying to wean off the medication but find my ADHD symptoms are severe without it, affecting my daily life and marriage. I'm concerned about the safety of taking my prescribed dose of 74mg of Concerta during pregnancy. Will my baby be safe if I take at least half my dose on days that are particularly bad? Should I continue taking the medication, and if so, what are the risks and benefits for my baby's health?
