I think I have a tumor. I noticed a hard growth in my inner thigh near my vagina that doesn't move and feels abnormal. I feel fine, eat normally, and have no issues with energy or pain. What could this growth be and should I be concerned?

The time before last when I had sex, it made my period come early, starting right during intercourse. This last time, I had sex and experienced bleeding a few hours later, which is 5 days early. I was just diagnosed with a fibroid tumor the size of a 4-month-old fetus. I am 52 and have been in menopause for six years. The doctor said I will need a partial hysterectomy, leaving my ovaries due to the size and the fact that the tumor is trying to fall apart, causing some bleeding. This surgery would be performed by a scope if all goes well. I'm more afraid that if the procedure didn't work, I would undergo the full surgery and then later have bladder problems. Do you have any advice for me?
