I have to use both a pad and a tampon to prevent leakage. I also experience fatigue and cramps. My periods were regular, but the last five months have been super heavy and long. I was diagnosed with PCOS/Endo last week and was put on metformin. I started my period last night and it has been SUPER heavy all day. I have bled through 5 super plus tampons in 6 hours and am very painful on my left side. I have taken midol/Tylenol and it hasn’t touched the pain, it feels like I’m being stabbed. The bleeding is abnormal for me as I have the implant and usually have normal/light periods. Should I go get checked out?
