asked

I haven't had my period for a year. My doctor recommended taking Angeliq, but I've been putting it off because they are not bio-identical hormones. I can tell my body is declining (dry skin, concentration, memory, hot flashes, etc.). Would it make any difference if I start taking them now? Would it delay the aging process? Would you recommend Angeliq or bio-identical hormones?

I’m experiencing extreme back pain, light-headedness, and sometimes breast tenderness. My periods have also been coming earlier than usual since getting the IUD.
