My 25-year-old daughter is 5-7 weeks pregnant. Her OB did a work-up and a transvaginal ultrasound around 4 weeks, where they saw the sac but no embryo. She went back for another ultrasound at 5-20, and still no embryo, just the sac. Her blood and urine tests indicate pregnancy. Could she be not far along enough to see the embryo? She is only 101 lbs and has a very tiny waist.

Then for the next 2 months, I have been having 2 periods: one about 9 days into my cycle and then the 'regular' one at about 28 days.
