I'm having severe uterine pain similar to period pain for the past 24 hours, a week before the placebo pills on my birth control start. I had a laparoscopic myomectomy and endometriosis excision surgery at the end of February. I'm wondering whether I can wait until after the weekend to address this, or if this is worth an ER visit.

My vulva is swollen and the area looks darker than normal. I'm worried it could be cancer. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?
