I often get recurrent UTIs and was wondering if there is a probiotic I can take to minimize this. I am 19 years old and have been experiencing this issue over the past few months, especially just before my period begins. I am not using any medications and have no other relevant medical history.

I think I’m pregnant but I have an IUD. My last period was around May 1st. My last Pap test was a year ago with no unusual results. I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. I am 20 years old, and my IUD was inserted 3 years ago but is two weeks expired. I took the pregnancy test two hours ago and have had abdominal and pelvic floor cramps since May 24th. I haven’t been able to feel the threads of the IUD, and the test was old, about a year, with just the white packaging around the test.

How can I best advocate for my fertility with my doctor without being told that my weight is a major factor in why I shouldn’t get pregnant? I am overweight (230 lbs) and I have hypothyroidism- my levels are currently normal from Synthroid 75mcg. My periods are irregular, and I was diagnosed with PCOS by a General Family Doctor, but my OBGYN told me that was not correct last year. I have excess facial hair on my chin and neck, and my periods are sometimes painful but I am mostly feeling tired all the time.

Hi, my periods are going on for more than a week. For the first 5 days of the week, it was just spotting, and now it's happening normally. It's my 11th day. I am not using any contraceptives. What could be causing this prolonged period, and is there anything I can do to regulate it?

I have been experiencing pain that started about a year ago, initially thought to be related to my colon but now believed to be originating from my left ovary. I have had a CT scan and pelvic ultrasound, both showing normal results, but I have not had a transvaginal ultrasound. The pain has returned after a period of absence and is a dull pain that migrates down my leg. I am concerned about ovarian cancer and whether the pain could be related to muscles or other issues. What could be causing this pain and should I be worried about ovarian cancer?
