I’m in the 4th week after a surgical abortion at 15 weeks gestation. I’m experiencing random heavy flows of blood that soak a pad within a few minutes. Is this normal? Additionally, I’m on the pill, and my first sugar pill is tomorrow. Should I take it and 'start' my period, or can I skip it and continue taking the daily pills since I’m still bleeding from the surgery?
