I tested positive for ureaplasma urealyticum with no symptoms and completed a 6-day course of Zithromax. My initial doctor said no retesting is needed and I can resume normal activities, including unprotected sex. However, I am anxious about not being infected anymore and the possibility of other infections. Is this normal, and what should I do if a new doctor suggests retesting?
