Why do I still experience ovulation pain every month while using the Ortho Evra patch, which is supposed to prevent ovulation?

I have missed my periods and it's been 8 days now. A pregnancy test shows a solid blue line on the control side but an evaporated line on the other. Does that mean I am pregnant? I am not using any contraceptives, my last period began on February 11, I am 24 years old, not using any medications, and I never had vaginal sex. However, my boyfriend and I have rubbed our genitals. Is there any possibility I can be pregnant without having vaginal sex?
