I've been experiencing sharp shooting pains low in my uterus, which started around 3am and come and go, worsening when I lie down. I'm 21 weeks pregnant with placenta previa and have had a previous C-section. The pain is stable, not constant, and I'm not taking any medications for it. I feel fetal movement and have no bleeding, but I am constipated and bloated. What could be causing these pains and what can I do to manage them?

I am 7 weeks and 3 days pregnant with light bleeding and cramping that feels like period cramps. I'm not sure what to do and am terrified. I generally experienced cramping when I got my period, which usually lasted a couple of days. My last period started on August 24, and it doesn't come regularly as I had a Mirena removed on June 24. I take 20mg of loxalate for anxiety and 8mg Ondansetron for nausea due to morning sickness. I have been diagnosed with anxiety, depression, and rheumatoid arthritis, and I had a gastric sleeve in 2020. I have not had an ultrasound yet, and my hCG level was 1451 on 29/09/1990. I noticed a small bright red clot and have had no recent sexual activity.

I have been on the Kyleena IUD since January 2021 and have noticed worsening acne and irregular hair growth, particularly around my jawline, neck, and chin, and also on my chest and back. I am concerned about these side effects and want to know if they will subside. Additionally, I initially wanted the Paraguard IUD, which is hormone-free, but my gynecologist advised against it due to potential cramping and heavier bleeding. I am curious about the long-term effects of these side effects and if there are any medications available to help with my current side effects without changing IUDs.

I had sex on October 11 and took a morning-after pill the next morning because I missed a birth control pill. I still haven't gotten my period and tomorrow I am supposed to start a new pack. Is it okay to start the pack or should I wait until I get my period?

I have been experiencing very heavy bleeding during my period, with significant spotting for about 7 days. I had a transvaginal and abdominal ultrasound, which showed no fibroids or polyps, but many cysts on my ovaries resembling PCOS. My hormone levels are normal, and my endometrium thickness was 7mm vaginally and 9mm abdominally on day 10. My doctor is putting me on oral birth control. Should I be concerned about the cysts on my ovaries or the thickness of my endometrium lining, given my normal hormone levels? Will the birth control mask any potential issues, especially since I am obese and have insulin resistance but am not diabetic?
