I've been having abnormal bleeding for about 5 months and I’m in pain. The pain is sharp and achey, localized in the abdominal area. I have PTSD, narcolepsy, and take medication for both. I’m 29 years old, my periods have been mostly normal but started to be irregular this year, and I’ve been bleeding every day since February. I have blood clots, and I saw my OBGYN who put in an IUD but it didn’t help. An ultrasound test didn’t find any fibroids or abnormalities, but I’ve been having a lot of pain and discomfort, sometimes feeling weak to the point of almost passing out. I’m not taking any hormone pills and change my pad around 6-7 times a day or more. What could be causing this and what should I do?
