I've had issues with birth control twice now, both times resulting in prolonged and irregular bleeding. The first time was with Tri-Sprintec, and now with Junel-Fe, I'm experiencing the same problem. The bleeding has been ongoing for 8 days and is irregular. What could be causing this and what can I do to stop the bleeding?

Do I need to be concerned about possible HIV exposure? I work as a CNA at a local hospital and while helping an HIV-positive patient off the bed pan, they grabbed my arm above the glove and got urine and possible vaginal secretions on me. I immediately washed the area with soap and water. My health is good with no issues, and I'm recovering from a viral upper respiratory infection.

I forgot to take my last active pill in my 21-day pack of birth control. Tomorrow would begin the inactive pills and my 'cycle' would start by Saturday. I am nervous about missing today's pill, especially since I had unprotected sex with my partner yesterday. Is it okay to miss today's pill?

I got a hormonal IUD (Minera) put in in November 2021 and was on my period for three months until January 2022. I haven't had a period since, but recently noticed what looked like my period starting again. Is this normal, and can I expect it to last for another three months like last time?
