I went to my OB/GYN today because of spotting and cramping. I ended my period 11 days ago and have been on birth control (Loestrin) for several years. I rarely miss a pill, but missed one on Sunday. This normally doesn’t amount to anything when I’ve missed a pill in the past. They said it could be a ruptured cyst or early pregnancy. The bleeding has gotten a little heavier and darker since my visit. They did not do a blood test and scheduled a sonogram for me Friday. I’m concerned with the increase in blood I’m seeing. Do you think it’s worth an ER visit? I should mention I did some manual labor over the weekend (did some heavy lifting), this may not be relevant. I am sexually active with my partner. I don’t know if I’m pregnant. They did not test me. I did have a period that ended 11 days ago. I am on Lexapro and Trazodone. I exercise about 4-5 times a week. I had a ruptured cyst several years ago.

Dr has put me on Prempro. Should I take it in the morning or night? Do I have to eat before taking it? Will it make me sleepy or upset my stomach? Will it help with my night sweats, hot flashes, fuzzy thinking, and depression?

I feel like my vagina is burning and it hurts a little to pee. What can it be, and if I'm sexually active, could that have something to do with it?

I am pregnant and planning a flight from Australia to the UK when I will be nearly 8 weeks pregnant. Will the flight increase my chances of miscarriage, and will the radiation exposure during the flight harm my fetus?

I have vaginal odor and my doctor has prescribed Metronidazole vaginal gel 0.75% for months. The odor goes away, only to reoccur approximately 1 to 2 weeks later. I use the cream again for five days and the same situation. Any solution to this problem?
