I have a yeast infection. I used Monistat 1, but still experience some exterior itching. What else can I do to resolve this?

I have been experiencing vaginal discomfort for about 3-4 days, including cloudy, yellowish discharge and a noticeable vaginal odor. I am 23 years old and take various prescription and over-the-counter medications, but not on a daily basis. I have had only one sexual partner this year, with the last intercourse being on 11/22. I am concerned about the possibility of an STD or another type of infection. What could be causing this and what steps should I take?

I have been spotting for the past four days, my last period ended on November 22. This also happened back in September. I am not using contraceptives and I am not sexually active. I had a tumor removed from my left ovary in 2016. My periods are usually heavy on the second and third days, with small clumps coming out. I haven't had a pap test in a while and there is an unusual smell. Is this normal, and should I see a doctor?
