I’ve started bleeding due to a miscarriage. My appointment with my GP isn’t for a few more days. Should I wait to see my GP or should I go to the hospital? I started bleeding Wednesday night and I’m 28 years old. This is my first pregnancy and miscarriage. I have no other symptoms besides the bleeding, which is medium/light and has been ongoing since Wednesday night. I’m not feeling weak or dizzy, just tired.

I started taking Levlen around a month and a half ago, and I'm experiencing very thick, stringy brown/black discharge along with small amounts of red blood. The discharge started around a week ago and is constant but very light. It has a noticeable bloody/musky odor and a slight fishy odor at times. My last period was around a month and a half ago, and it wasn't regular. I have always had irregular periods and am sexually active with one partner using a condom. Is this normal, and when will it stop?

Should I use emergency contraception if my boyfriend accidentally spilled a drop of sperm on the bedsheets and wiped his hand with a towel, then fingered me with the other hand that did not touch the condom or semen? I am concerned about the possibility of pregnancy, especially as I am approaching ovulation, but I am also worried about the side effects of emergency contraception.
