My OB GYN recommended birth control pills to boost my low estrogen levels. I am concerned about potential side effects such as weight gain, moodiness, and depression. What are the pros and cons of taking birth control pills, and should I consider them or try to boost my estrogen levels naturally?

I’m severely cramping and feel like I’m dilating. I had this once before where it feels like period blood is just pooling and not coming out. The last time was the worst pain I’ve ever been in. I have 3 kids. My periods are not regular, I’m 51, and I have a watery bloody discharge when wiping. I’m currently using generic toradol. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I'm 35 years old and just found out I'm pregnant. I had a root canal three weeks ago and a crown procedure four days ago, which involved X-rays, numbing, and an amalgam filling. I also took ibuprofen 600 mg for a week after the root canal and recently ate a medium-well burger. Are these exposures and actions potentially harmful to my pregnancy?

I ejaculated on her stomach and cleaned it off with a warm wet towel. I’m worried that she may have either taken the sperm from the towel to put it in her vagina or maybe wiped herself with the towel with sperm on it to get herself pregnant. Is that possible?

A few days ago, I noticed a weird smell coming from my private part. I had no other symptoms. I saw a nurse today who prescribed me Macrogel (antibiotic cream) without performing any exam. Today, a forgotten tampon that must have been there for a few days came out. Was all of this because of the tampon? Do I still keep applying the cream? Am I at risk of developing Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS)?

I had an IUD removed in June and experienced slight bleeding a couple of weeks later. In July, I was prescribed prednisone for two months, which caused significant stress and emotional distress. Since stopping prednisone five months ago, I have not had a period. My doctors initially attributed this to the IUD, but I suspect it might be related to the prednisone. Now, I am on Methotrexate. Can you help me understand if my adrenal glands can recover after being off prednisone for five months, and if my lack of periods could be related to the prednisone or stress?
