My wife and I have been trying to conceive for about 6 months. She has noticed brown spotting and heavier than usual bleeding during her menstrual cycles, which came earlier than usual by 3 days. This has happened during two menstrual cycles and she says it has never happened before. What could this be?

My wife is 8 weeks pregnant and has been constipated for 3-4 days. She is depressed and wants to know if it's safe for her to take a syrup used for constipation and weight loss. Additionally, I am concerned about my wife's health as she is 18 weeks pregnant, and I have HSV2 and HPV. We had unprotected sex, and she experienced some bleeding and unusual discharge. I also have concerns about syphilis, as I have had Alopecia Areata and have noticed sores that could be related to HSV2 or syphilis. I am worried about the impact of these conditions on my wife and unborn child. What should we do, and are these conditions dangerous for the baby?

I went off the pill approximately 4 months ago. For the first 2 months, my periods were normal. Then for the next 2 months, I have been having 2 periods: one about 9 days into my cycle and then the 'regular' one at about 28 days. What can this possibly mean, and how can I address this situation to try to conceive?

I am 32 years old with two healthy children and a history of two miscarriages. I have hypothyroidism and one copy of the MTHFR mutation. I took synthroid, prenatal vitamins, Metanx, and baby aspirin during my pregnancies, which went well. We are considering having a third child, but I am concerned about taking Metanx again due to the high folic acid content, which I've read can potentially cause cancer. My OBGYN recommends Metanx, but I've read that only one copy of the MTHFR doesn't necessarily warrant treatment. Should I continue taking Metanx, and when should I start taking it if we decide to try for a third child?

My girlfriend has HPV, possibly types 16 or 18. We are considering being intimate and want to understand the risks and preventive measures, including the potential for HPV transmission through skin-to-skin contact, oral sex, and kissing. Additionally, I want to know if being circumcised affects the risk of penile cancer.
