My wife is 34 weeks pregnant with our second child. She was recently diagnosed with gestational diabetes, which was missed earlier. The ultrasound showed the baby is above average in size, particularly in abdominal circumference (AC), and we have an appointment with the diabetes clinic in a few days. Given the baby's size and the recent diagnosis, should we be worried, and what immediate steps should we take to manage the situation?

My period was due to start December 27. I am normally regular with a 30-day cycle. I missed my January period and tested negative for pregnancy. On January 16-18, I had light spotting that was pink to brown when I wiped, and the spotting stopped when I lay down and rested. My pregnancy test is still negative. Could this be implantation bleeding and still have a negative test? If it could be implantation bleeding, when would I expect the test to come up positive?

How can I tell the difference between implantation bleeding and breakthrough bleeding on birth control? I have had brownish discharge in a very small amount for two days now. I very rarely have breakthrough bleeding on my birth control pills. I have been on Minastrin 24 Fe for nearly 9 years. I usually take my pills continuously to avoid periods, but I did decide to have a withdrawal bleed a couple of weeks ago. I was back on active pills for a whole week before having sex. What is going on?
