Will I have to have Mirena coils for the rest of my life, or would it be sufficient to have it just for the 5 years duration? During a pelvic examination, my OB/GYN suspected I may have a 'twisted uterus' and recommended an ultrasound to check for fibroid tumors. I am concerned that the ultrasound might reveal something unexpected, such as an ovarian mass or tumor. Can the unusual shape of my uterus and/or the masses felt during the examination be due to something other than fibroid tumors?

I am 8 weeks pregnant with twins. Fetus A has a normal gestational sac, but fetus B has an irregular and small gestational sac. Both fetuses have good heart rates. I have had a first-trimester ultrasound and am taking prenatal vitamins. I also have blood pressure issues and am currently on nifedipine. What does the irregular sac indicate, and is there anything that can be done to improve it?
