What is the normal growth of the yolk sac and when does it stop growing? I am currently 8 weeks 1 day, had an ultrasound today and was told the heart rate was very good at 169, length was exactly on for dates, but that my yolk sac which was 5.7 at 6 weeks 6 days is now 7.1 at 8 weeks 1 day. I am worried because I know a large yolk sac can indicate chromosomal abnormalities. How worried should I be?

Last year, for two months, I didn't get my period. I took a pregnancy test that was negative, and my GP sent my urine to the lab, which showed a borderline pregnancy test. After that, I got my period on December 20th and again on January 6th. My GP told me I had a miscarriage, but since then, I haven't gotten my period. What could be the reason for this?

I recently found out I'm pregnant. My period is very irregular, so I thought I was 8 weeks along when I went to the doctor. The ultrasound indicated it's probably 5-6 weeks, with no heartbeat yet. They've taken two blood draws, which suggest a likely miscarriage because the pregnancy did not grow by 60%. Two ultrasounds also showed no growth, indicating a probable miscarriage. I asked for another ultrasound in a week and another blood test. What does this mean, and what should I expect?
