I have had fibroids since 2016, underwent a myomectomy in 2017, and they have returned. My last period lasted 18 days, and the fibroids are now larger, causing worse periods and a bulky uterus. I am 37 years old, borderline anemic, and taking iron supplements, trapec for heavy periods, calcium supplements, and four medications per day to control bleeding. I am seeking a second opinion on my options, including hormonal pills, myomectomy, or hysterectomy, and want to know about potential side effects and recovery times.
