I took emergency birth control 7 days ago and I still feel nauseous. Is this normal, and could the nausea be related to taking both emergency birth control and my regular birth control pills?

I just took a pregnancy test and it was negative. It's been 26 days since my last period, which was July 20-26. I stopped using birth control pills in June and have been sexually active since my last period, unprotected. My periods have been irregular, and I'm unsure when my next one is supposed to be. Is the negative pregnancy test result conclusive, or should I take another test later?

I'm trying to get pregnant and have experienced shooting pains in my lower right abdomen, vomiting, and tender stomach. My last menstrual period was on July 17. My boyfriend and I have been trying to conceive since January, and I've had symptoms that made me think I was pregnant. Could this be another false alarm, and how can I differentiate between psychological symptoms and actual pregnancy symptoms?
