I am a 77-year-old woman who started taking Premarin 4 weeks ago after having a hysterectomy 6 years ago. I have experienced light vaginal bleeding and cramps similar to a period for the first time this morning. I was on Premarin for 22 years before switching to bio-identical hormones for 7 years and then returning to Premarin. I also had a bladder lift 5 months before my hysterectomy and am in good health. Is it possible that these symptoms are related to the Premarin?

I have a haemorrhagic functional ovarian cyst in my right ovary, which was first found after experiencing pain, frequent urination, and other symptoms during the first cycle of trying to conceive. The cyst has not resolved after 16 months, despite timed intercourse and ovulation checks suggesting normal ovulation each month. All other fertility tests are okay, but I remain unable to conceive. Could this cyst be blocking my right ovary and preventing conception on months when I ovulate from that side? Additionally, I have been spotting up to 5 days before my period and my luteal phase has been varying significantly, trending down over the last 12 months. Could the haemorrhagic cyst, potentially caused by endometriosis, be responsible for or contributing to these issues?

I had a hysterectomy on November 13th and ended up back in the hospital a week later with an abscess. I was treated with IV antibiotics and oral antibiotics for 10 days. It's been almost a month and I have symptoms such as occasional low-grade fever, aching in my breast bone, no energy, little appetite, and intense pain in my lower spine/upper tailbone. I also have fibromyalgia and tend to have low blood pressure. What's going on with me, and should the blood from the abscess have been drained?

I am 44 years old and was diagnosed with invasive ductile cancer (Stage 1, Grade 3) and had my left breast removed. I have never given birth, am a smoker and drinker, and recently finished chemotherapy which lowered my estrogen levels to almost 0. I also developed an underactive thyroid and cannot tolerate Tamoxifen due to severe fatigue and other side effects. My oncologist suggested removing my ovaries, but my gynecologist wants to do a full hysterectomy. Should I agree to the hysterectomy or just the ovary removal, considering both procedures will put me into early menopause?
