A credit card company states they filed a 1099 form in 2021 for a debt from 2013, but I know nothing about this account and they have no evidence that I was ever informed. Was a 1099 form submitted last year, and how do I resolve this since there is no proof this is my debt?

I filed my tax return on 03/18/2022 and received a notice in early April requesting social security numbers and the date of death for someone I was collecting from who passed away due to COVID on 01/07/22. I made corrections and sent them to Texas but have not received my refund, which is still processing. What should I do about the notice and how can I track my refund status?

My wife and I are self-employed and have marketplace insurance.
