I noticed discrepancies in my W2 forms, with box 1 showing $28,706 and box 5 showing $30,418 under Medicare wages. Do I need to claim the Iowa income, and why is there a difference in the amounts on my W2?

I recently got married last year, and my wife already has an updated SSN. I called the IRS, and they said everything was in order on their end for both me and my wife.
